Question #1
Do you stand firm in upholding, honoring and defending the Constitution? Please provide examples.
Of course. I volunteered and joined the United States Air Force in 1970. I served for eight years.I was also a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary for five years. I have continuously participated in the democratic system for my entire adult life. I pay my taxes and do my best to help others.
Question #2
What does medical freedom mean to you?
Being able to chose my healthcare provider and receive quality healthcare.
Question #3
What is your stance on vaccine mandates? Do you oppose or support mandates?
I am very much in favor in vaccines and my family is up to date on all vaccines. However, due to the invasive nature of vaccines I do believe citizens should have the right to opt out. I just do not think this option is wise.
Question #4
Do you support the current vaccine exemptions in Florida, Religious and Medical? Would you fight to uphold them should they come under attack?
I believe this is a constitutional issue. People cannot be forced to be vaccinated. However, failure to have vaccines could be used to limit access to public services, like schools. It is not just a matter of an individual that does not want to have a vaccine, it is a matter of others being subjected to a disease that could be prevented by a vaccine. If you children are attending public schools they need to be properly vaccinated.
Question #5
Would you support a bill to expand vaccine exemptions to include conscientious objections?
I don't think additional legislation is required.
Question #6
During a declared state of emergency, would you actively fight against proposed vaccine mandates?
This question is a bit ambiguous. What kind of "declared state emergency" are you referring to? I believe existing legislation and the constitution covers us here.
Question #7
At the state level, Florida Statute 381.00315 gives the State Health Officer the power to force vaccines, when approved, at their discretion and with police powers for enforcement? Are you aware of this law? Would you support the repeal of this law?
No, it is written broadly enough and with the "when approved" contingent that makes it acceptable to me.
Question #8
At the federal level, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 gives vaccine makers immunity from lawsuits stemming from harm due to a vaccine. No other drug company has ever been given this sort of protection. Are you familiar with this law? Do you support this type of immunity for pharmaceutical companies?
No one is immune from a lawsuit as a result of neglect. This law has not be taken through the legal system and deemed constitutional or not by the supreme court. I'm willing to let the courts decide.
Question #9
Are you currently (or previously) affiliated in any way (including campaign contributions) with pharmaceutical companies, medical establishments or educational institutions?
Yes, I have been a University professor since 1995.
Final Thoughts?
None

QUESTION #1
Do you stand firm in upholding, honoring and defending the Constitution? Please provide examples.
Yes. Defending all of the U.S. Constitution is a priority for me. Freedom of Speech has been under attack and if we don't squash those attacks we are doomed as a nation. The 2nd amendment affirms our God given right to protect ourselves and the promises of the U.S. Constitution. We must always keep in mind that the Constitution does not give us rights, we are given those rights by God and no government is capable of taking those away unless the people let it happen. I will do everything in my power to defend our God given rights affirmed by the Constitution.
QUESTION #2
What does medical freedom mean to you?
Having medical freedom means that no one can tell me what medical decisions I need to make for myself or my children. Just like I would never impose my religious beliefs on other people I would not impose a medical belief on anyone else. Are eggs good for us or bad for us, I can't remember which one the "experts" have agreed on recently.
QUESTION #3
What is your stance on vaccine mandates? Do you oppose or support mandates?
Yes, I oppose vaccine mandates because you can never apply a one size fits all when it comes to the human body. All human bodies can't even treat something as simple as a peanut the same way so why do they think, even with studies, that a foreign substance is OK to purposefully and forcefully inject into everyone is fine because the math says that it is societies best chance.
QUESTION #4
Do you support the current vaccine exemptions in Florida, Religious and Medical? Would you fight to uphold them should they come under attack?
Yes, I fully support the vaccine exemptions and I can't imagine a reason that would make me change my mind on that. I would absolutely fight to uphold the vaccine exemptions.
QUESTION #5
Would you support a bill to expand vaccine exemptions to include conscientious objections?
Yes! While working in the medical field I have seen the benefits some vaccines can have to help stop the spread of disease, however, individually people should be able to decide if the cost is worth the benefit.
QUESTION #6
During a declared state of emergency, would you actively fight against proposed vaccine mandates?
YES! You can refer to my answer to question #3. usually the FDA will take years, in most cases 2 - 3 years, to approve a vaccine. Those years are important to determining the effectiveness and to weigh the cost vs benefits of the vaccine. There is no way that you can do that kind of review in a matter of a few months and ensure that the vaccine is safe.
QUESTION #7
At the state level, Florida Statute 381.00315 gives the State Health Officer the power to force vaccines, when approved, at their discretion and with police powers for enforcement. Are you aware of this law? Would you support the repeal of this law?
I was not aware of that specific statute. I read the statue and although it states that those who are unwilling to be treated can be isolated or quarantined it seems like you are then guilty and can be imprisoned without any due process. That law at the bare minimum should be revised.
I am somewhat familiar with that Act and others that protect drug companies. I think this deserves more research on my part. On it's face I can see the reasons why these protections exist and I can also see the absurdity of giving large drug companies this kind of power.
QUESTION #9
Are you currently (or previously) affiliated in any way (including campaign contributions) with pharmaceutical companies, medical establishments or educational institutions?
No, I am not affiliated in any way with any pharmaceutical companies.

QUESTION #1
Do you stand firm in upholding, honoring and defending the Constitution? Please provide examples.
I do, but having never held office I don't have much official action to show. I have enrolled myself and my children in Constitution classes with KrisAnne Halll in addition to their schooling because I want them to understand the document and it's history. I think teaching the next generation about the document is one of the best way to uphold it because you can't respect a document you know nothing about.
QUESTION #2
What does medical freedom mean to you?
Medical freedom means I am personally in charge of and responsible for my and my children's health care choices. It should also mean the ability to receive that care from a provider of your choosing, for insurance to cover all types of care similarly, and to have better access to medical information from a variety of sources. We have a long way to go to restore true medical freedom.
QUESTION #3
What is your stance on vaccine mandates? Do you oppose or support mandates?

YES. We currently have a religious exemption but would fall much more appropriately under a conscientious objection.
QUESTION #6
During a declared state of emergency, would you actively fight against proposed vaccine mandates?
I can think of no emergencies that would necessitate mandating a vaccine. The governments power should be limited and an emergency should not expand it.

My husband works for Griffols, which is a company that collects plasma and uses it to create therapies, drugs, and other medical treatments. He runs a plasma collection center and is not involved in the production of said products.

Glad to have found your network! Medical freedom is an issue I am personally passionate about and am interested in supporting your cause! I was personally dismissed from an OBGYN practice for asking too many questions about my care and refusing unnecessary interventions at my birth. My insurance company wouldn't properly cover my care at the birth center we went to after dismissal. It is upsetting and anti-American.

QUESTION #1

Yes I do. My entire campaign is centered around respecting the rights of all people regardless of their accusation or past.
QUESTION #2
What does medical freedom mean to you?
Medical freedom is a component of freedom itself. The word medical just gives it a subject matter. A person should be free to treat an illness or medical situation in their lives in a way they choose, without restriction unless it’s life threatening.
QUESTION #3
What is your stance on vaccine mandates? Do you oppose or support mandates?
I oppose mandates unless you are infringing on the rights of others by not taking the vaccine. For example, if you are staying home and do not want to vaccinate, that’s your right not to do so. However, if you will be interacting with the general public and that exposes them to contracting the virus, then I think you should be required to vaccinate out of respect for others.
QUESTION #4
Do you support the current vaccine exemptions in Florida, Religious and Medical? Would you fight to uphold them should they come under attack?
Yes.
QUESTION #5
Would you support a bill to expand vaccine exemptions to include conscientious objections?
Yes. However, other factors have to be considered out of respect for others. How contagious is the virus, would it expose others if someone else has been vaccinated and they encounter someone who hasn’t? Those are important things to consider.
QUESTION #6
During a declared state of emergency, would you actively fight against proposed vaccine mandates?
QUESTION #7
At the state level, Florida Statute 381.00315 gives the State Health Officer the power to force vaccines, when approved, at their discretion and with police powers for enforcement. Are you aware of this law? Would you support the repeal of this law?

QUESTION #1
Do you stand firm in upholding, honoring and defending the Constitution? Please provide examples.
As a Congressman, I took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. The Bill of Rights is one of the most important documents in our nation’s history, and I firmly believe in the personal liberties that it guarantees. While every decision I make is rooted in the Constitution, there are 3 amendments that stand out to me. Nothing could be more important than the 1st Amendment, the freedom of religion and speech. I consistently fight to uphold the 2nd Amendment, the right to bear arms as guaranteed by our Founding Fathers. Finally, I strongly believe in the 10th amendment which guarantees that powers not expressly given to the federal government are reserved for the states so that the people are closer to the decision making process that governs them.
QUESTION #2
What does medical freedom mean to you?
I believe that an individual should be able to make the medical decisions that are right for them. Medical decisions should be based on a doctor-patient relationship and not mandated by the government.
QUESTION #3
What is your stance on vaccine mandates? Do you oppose or support mandates?
I do not believe the government should mandate vaccines.

I would actively oppose any vaccine mandates, including during declared states of emergency.
QUESTION #7
At the state level, Florida Statute 381.00315 gives the State Health Officer the power to force vaccines, when approved, at their discretion and with police powers for enforcement. Are you aware of this law? Would you support the repeal of this law?
As a federal legislator, I do not have jurisdiction over state law, but I would certainly encourage my state colleagues to take a hard look at repealing this law.
From my understanding, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 was enacted after liability suits became more prominent, and there was a concern that vaccine manufacturers would no longer produce life saving vaccines. The law provides an avenue for injured parties to be compensated with no proof of injury, while providing companies with liability protections. First and foremost,I believe in protecting the rights of individuals and consumers, while supporting a regulatory environment that ensures businesses are able to operate.
QUESTION #9
Are you currently (or previously) affiliated in any way (including campaign contributions) with pharmaceutical companies, medical establishments or educational institutions?
I have received a campaign contribution from the employees of HCA Healthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield, but I am not affiliated with pharmaceutical companies, medical establishments or educational institutions.
